What is Farmington Avenue Biblical Counseling Center?
Farmington Avenue Biblical Counseling Center (F.A.B.C.C.) is a counseling ministry focused on using the sufficiency of God’s Word to help hurting people find their promised hope in Jesus Christ.
What is Biblical Counseling?
Biblical Counseling is the process of taking the truth of God's Word, the Bible, and applying it to the specific needs, struggles, sins, and sufferings of an individual. This is done for the purpose of providing hope, healing, and a life that is pleasing to God for the counselee.
|
Biblical Counseling believes that the Bible is sufficient for all times and for all people. This means that there is no problem, person, or time period in human history where God's Word does not provide hope.
|
Biblical Counseling is dependent on a counselee who is broken and willing to change. Biblical Counseling is not a passive experience, but requires action. It takes time, work, and commitment from the counselee in order to find victory; but there can be victory!

What is the Process?
Fill out the counseling form |
Schedule your sessions |
Begin the counseling process |
By filling out our Personal Data Intake Form you are giving our counselor an understanding of what areas you are struggling with as well as how best to help you. The form will include various questions, all of which will allow your counselor to understand how best to help you.
* All Counselees that will be attending sessions must fill out a PDI form. |
Once your form is received, it will be reviewed by our counselor. After that our counselor will reach out to discuss the counseling process with you, answer any questions you might have, and schedule your initial session.
|
Most people in society want quick fixes to big problems. During your first session, your counselor will help lay out a timeline of sessions based on the problems and goals for which you are seeking help. After that you are ready to begin the wonderful process of growing and changing.
